JONATHAN M. HAY

Jonathan M. Hay - Commercial & Residential Real Estate Attorneys, Rubin Hay & Gould Law FirmJonathan is the head of the Real Estate Group at Rubin, Hay & Gould, P.C. He concentrates his practice in real estate and business law and has 30 years of experience in real estate and business matters.

Jonathan represents clients in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including the purchasing, selling and developing of commercial and residential real estate, zoning, environmental and land use matters. Additionally, he negotiates and prepares leases for both landlords and business clients.

He advises small business clients on business matters, including the formation of entities (corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and trusts), shareholder agreements, employment agreements and acquisitions, mergers and sales. Jonathan represents business clients in connection with their bank borrowing and other private financing.

Jonathan was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1973 and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1977. He is a graduate of Phillips Andover Academy (1964) and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa 1970). He received his law degree from Boston University (J.D., 1973).
